Lanodir is proud to offer trading services to costumers in Bangladesh, making the company’s trading practices efficient and reliable. Commodities brokers and dealers work to ensure that trading agricultural goods on behalf of Bangladesh is a seamless and effective process.

Brokers serve as independent traders who work as the liaison between sellers and buyers of the same commodity. This newly formed team then works to execute the orders of the commodity. The broker gets a commission on each of the transactions. Dealers, however, work as a principal as it relates to customer service. This is the main difference between dealers and brokers.

Commodity brokers and dealers from Lanodir can be engaged with agricultural trade on both a current and future basis. Commodities include not only the agricultural product, but the financial futures that are exchanged during the commodity transaction process. Products are generally able to be substituted, and can include soybean, corn and wheat. These commodities are written with a certain classification, as well as additional specifications that state the quality and quantity of the product.

Commodity exchanges are owned by their members and serve to bring sellers and buyers together. Transactions can be made on a spot basis, which means that commodity is sold for a cash profit and is delivered to the buyer immediately. Or, the commodities can be sold on a future basis, so that the buyer has the right to buy the commodity at some point in the future at a pre-determined price. Several of these opportunities currently exist in international markets.

The prices of commodities can be quoted in spot or future form, and are displayed on an electronic board so that the prices are evident to potential buyers. Future prices are quoted according to the proposed delivery date, and overall prices are based on trades that occur in trading pits during specific hours.

Lucrative commodities include oilseeds and grains, which are distributed around the world. These grains are used as stabilizers for a number of food items, and include corn, wheat, barley and sorghum. Rice and jute are among the main crops in the country, and we will represent the country when commodity sales and purchases for these crops take place. Our commitment is to use cutting -edge technology and resources to keep these food items in pristine condition during shipment and storage.
