Lanodir USA is subsidiary of Lanodir S.A., a conglomerate of leading companies in the field of agricultural products and pest control.
In 1996 Lanodir S.A. started its operations in Uruguay, offering hygiene products to dairy producers. Soon it expanded its operations to pest control and sale of agrochemicals and fertilizers.
In 2005 Catem Uruguay SRL was founded. It is the largest plant in Uruguay for treatment, disinfection and certification of wood packaging for export.
In 2007 Preserves Uruguay S.R.L. was founded. It is a leading company in the field of fumigation of fresh fruit using Phosphine gas. Preserva also operates in Paraguay.
In 2010 Fumigran Paraguay S.A. was established. It is the leading company in the fumigation of grains and seeds using Phosphine gas and the revolutionary Dilophus Horn System (HDS).
In 2011 S.A. Ecosily was established as a grain elevator exclusively for Cargill.
As part of Select USA, an initiative of President Barack Obama, this family of leading companies in South America decided to enter the North American market. In 2014, under the name of Lanodir USA, operations began in the State of Maryland.
